Zoo Med’s Repti-Bark is made from the bark of fir trees. The perfect substrate for humidity loving reptiles due to its ability to absorb moisture and then release it into the terrarium.

• We use this product for our Redfoot Tortoises (see photo), they love to walk around and burrow in the substrate.  We prefer this substrate as it is low in dust and the chips are a medium size, not too small, which lowers the risk of gut impaction.

The chips provide better moisture retention while preventing live food from hiding in your substrate.

Naturally decorative, Repti-Bark provides your terrarium with that tropical rainforest look.

Repti-Bark is washable and re-useable.
