What Information do we collect?
When you place an order with aquariumgear.ie we collect the following personal information: name, billing address, email address, telephone number, delivery address, payment information. When you have placed an order we will keep a record of your purchase history and customer service correspondence.

Where is this information kept?
The information entered is stored on the website and sent by email to AquariumGear.ie, you will also receive an email with details of your order. The server is located in Amsterdam.
How long will this information be kept?
Customer and order information will be kept securely on our system until you ask us to remove it. However, please note that if you have ordered from us, aquariumgear.ie must comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
As long as we reasonably require for our legitimate interests.
Mailing List Subscriptions will remain active until you opt out.
We may keep a record of any correspondence with you, for example if you have made a complaint about service or product, for as long as is necessary to protect us from legal claim.
Where we no longer have a need to keep your information, we will delete it.

- We use An Post to deliver your purchases. We provide An Post with your name and delivery address. If we need to use a courier to deliver your purchase we will provide the courier company with your name, delivery address and mobile phone number (and email if required), we will provide you with the name of the courier company.
- We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Minors
The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children. If you are the parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.
